Sirius stared out of the window of the Justice Building, his blue eyes on the ground below. Cracked cement, scattered pebbles. He blinked, now looking up at the sky. Grey. It was the perfect day to be sentenced to death. Though this type of death wouldn’t have been his first choice by any means, Sirius couldn’t help but feel pride in his decision.
His family treated being chosen in the reaping as a gift. It was an honor to be put to the ultimate test. District two, and especially the Black family, took training for the annual Hunger Games very seriously. Studying every day, physical training five days a week. All of this since before he could babble a coherent sentence. He was prepared.
