Summary
After enduring a brutal defeat, Bowser has seemingly turned over a new leaf. The citizens of Mushroom Kingdom are wary of this, but a peace treaty has been signed between the Mushroom and Koopa kingdoms and a celebration will be held to commemorate the alliance of the once opposing kingdoms.
Luigi has been tasked with personally delivering the invitation for Princess Peach’s ball to celebrate their newfound peace to King Bowser. During his time at the Koopa King’s castle when the chance to get to know each other better arises, a shift happens between them. Unintended openness, kindness, the telling of secrets, and more is revealed, and they realize that perhaps there is more to the other than meets the eye.
I don't know much about Mario. I didn’t grow up on the games or anything. Because of this, I am sure there will be many things that aren’t accurate in this fic, but I am writing this for fun so I hope others enjoy it too even if it is inaccurate.
