"I'm not looking for the ideal omega from a viewer's standpoint, but rather my own," Mingi added, dragging his thumb across the rim of the empty shot glass. "Don't you think porn is more appealing when the couple in it has genuine chemistry? A genuine attraction to one another? I replied to you because you're my type."
Mingi poured the soju next, filling up both of their shot glasses. The bar was starting to get more crowded, the heavy drawl of music and shouting only getting louder as more drunken patrons made their way over to the dance floor. Despite all the distractions, Mingi's gaze remained fixed on Yunho. He looked stunning under the dim, yellow lighting.
"I mean, this is a casual thing of course," Mingi quickly interjected, realizing that perhaps he was getting a little too personal with his words. "But I think you're hot as fuck, so," he shrugged. "I think you're perfect for the part, if you're still interested."

“I’m pregnant”. Yunho spat the words before he could lose the nerve completely and run in the opposite direction, as far away as possible from Mingi. Possibly forever. He said it with his eyes squeezed shut, so tightly that he felt the tears forming from the strain and discomfort. He was bracing for the worst.
“I’m… happy for you?” Mingi said after what felt like years. Yunho wasn’t sure how much time they had spent in silence, but it definitely felt like at least five minutes to him. He slowly opened his eyes, almost letting out a laugh at Mingi’s bewildered and still confused expression.
“It’s yours, Mingi. The pup is yours”.

Summary
Set in the early 2000’s in a small town.
Yunho has lived in this town all his life and chose to stay back, not entirely out of his own will but more so out of an obligation he placed on himself. He has a simple life, attends church, takes care of his parents and farm animals. He doesn’t expect to find himself drawn to the gas station worker.
Mingi wanted to run away from this damned town, as far away from his father as possible, but is stuck here working and living in a gas station. However, once he starts watching the church boy who passes by the station for mass on Sunday mornings, his life doesn’t seem so horrible anymore.
The two men find escape in each other, but it leaves Yunho choking on guilt, and Yunho’s guilt leaves Mingi resentful, like he's just some sin Yunho keeps committing and trying to wash off.
