The winter was cold
Just like snow and ice"Amane, are you freezing?"
Even snow doesn't last forever
In this winter, though...
The ice column freezes
In the silence itself~Snow and ice...
I wonder which will endure
✧
Winter, as Tsukasa lives it.

Al is stuck in a room with no windows and two beds.
He doesn't know the time or the day and he doesn't know the stupid codes these people keep asking for.
He doesn't know when someone will show up to get them out, or if Ed will last that long.- Language:

I want to see the sun. Reading this hurts so much.
OK there is this song (the moon will sing by The Crane Wives):
"I loved you like the sun
Bore the shadows that you made
With no light of my own
I shine only with the light you gave me" ahhh the lyrics fits so well -

If it weren't for Alphonse, everything would still be fine. Mom would be alive, warm and gentle as ever. She wouldn't be a rotting corpse beneath the earth, killed by giving birth to life.
In which Al is five years younger than Ed. Things are a little more complicated.

"Nii-chan, have you ever heard of coughing up flower petals?"
"Excuse me?"
"Hypothetically, though. Obviously, that's not... real."
Or: Kou suffers from Hanahaki Disease, and the more time he spends with Mitsuba, the worse his condition gets. But maybe he would rather die rather than ever letting Mitsuba go.

Summary
(If you love someone in secret, or if your love is one-sided... sometimes, they say, if your bond is strong, your lungs will sprout flowers.
Aoi’s voice is clear as day in her memories, as is her mischievous grin while she tells her all about a curse, and about the way roots will pierce through your lungs and buds will crowd in your windpipe, like unspoken words of love do.)
It can’t be.
But the the petals mock her with their beauty - she holds them between her fingers, careful, and they’re soft and fragile and she doesn’t know how something so delicate could ever cause her so much pain.
She throws them away.
It can’t be. It will pass.
Hanako brings flowers in his name. It’s only fair he’d bring them in Yashiro’s heart, too.Bookmarked by SprinkleBread
