Summary
It had been twelve years since he killed Voldemort. It had been twelve years since he died and came back to life. It had been twelve years since he became the Master of Death. It had been twelve years since his heart stopped beating.
Twelve years after the Battle of Hogwarts, the dead started walking. It changed very little for Harry Potter, already traveling the world alone as a grim reaper, and he swore to himself that he wouldn’t get involved beyond doing his job. He was suddenly very busy, after all. It was hard for souls to move on when their bodies were still shambling around, and there were more dead than living these days. He had already saved the world once; it was someone else’s turn.
And then he heard a little girl in the middle of a forest, screaming, sobbing, terrified, and alone as the dead cornered her.
Harry always did have a saving people thing, didn’t he?

Summary
Lord Hadrian Peverell-Potter-Black, Master of Death, Boy-who-conquered, and all that, has lived a complicated and different life already for someone who’s supposed to be in his thirties. The young man doesn’t look a day older than twenty-eight, and has found a way to navigate his life the best he can. It has ups and downs, but maybe this apocalypse is a real downside. Not an upside; as Death calls it.
In the first part of the series Harry meets Merle on a rooftop in Atlanta. After twenty questions, he finds himself enthralled with the gruff man and decides to follow him and his brother (and maybe their group). Or maybe, Death feels that Harry deserves a second – albeit fucked up – chance at life. Only Luna knows if Death knows what he is doing!
Throw in a George, Ron, Draco, Daryl and Carol and see what you will get.
Some characters stay alive, other characters will die, albeit in a different way or for a different reason. A few OC’s, since there are some random characters and American witches and wizards. Major character death will be some characters that die(d) in the original series as well.

Summary
He emptied his vaults 2 weeks after death had warned his master to stock up on everything he and his godson would need. A magical tent (charmed an warded to hell and back by goblins) for when they were alone, trunks filled with clothes, books, medical supplies, potion ingredients, school supplies (both magical and no-mag) Teddy being only 7 Harry needed everything for however long this planetary cleanse would last (according to death).
Harry and Teddy portkeyed to America on Death's advice to the Potter family castle but ended up in the Dixons cabin both a little hurt (Teddy a sprained wrist, Harry a dislocated shoulder) by a malfunctioning portkey from the ministry. -

The Dixons and Harry Potter try to get to Atlanta but fail miserably when they realize the entire town is crawling with Walkers. The survivors they are - they head for higher up the mountain to keep safe. They are later joined by Shane and the others. What would have become of the group if they'd had a wizard within its ranks? Would they have found somewhere safe and been able to keep it or would they still lose? Who would survive? Who would die?
