Ron looked at the girl standing in front of him. Her hair was messy and dirty, her face bruised, her clothes torn. Her eyes were shining with tears.“What… what happened?” he whispered, shocked.
The girl lifted her gaze to him, her whole body trembling.
“T-they kidnapped us… Th-they beat us and…” She broke off, trying to catch her breath. “…and raped us.”
Ron felt his throat tighten. “Oh God…”
After a moment, he spoke again, his voice soft and careful:
“What’s your name?”
She wiped her eyes with a dirty hand. “Hermione.”
Ron nodded and took a small step closer.

Summary
Healer Potter can heal injuries that no one else can and gets a new patient in his specialized ward at St. Mungo's. It's clear from the start that this patient is broken, with injuries and abuse dating years. But Harry is surprised to discover that the patient is Draco Malfoy. For the next three months, Harry has to heal his injuries from an apparent suicide attempt, but soon he realizes that it's deeper than that.
Draco is fresh out of Azkaban and Harry knows that the guards must have viciously tortured him, but Draco isn't talking about it. He's set up to stay in the Mental Health ward permanently if Harry doesn't heal him physically and mentally. At the same time, Harry isn't the righteous force of anger and courage that he once was. He quit the Aurors and suffers from extreme social anxiety, panic attacks and PTSD attacks, though it's not from war. Harry has to deal with his problems, too, but maybe not alone anymore as Draco is there to recover with him.
Trigger warning - discussions about sexual assaults, associated terminology and abuse. Panic attacks and some sleeping, eating and drinking disorders.
This is a story of recovery from severe emotional distress on both their parts.
