And then a door opened.
It was a quiet sound, not one any mortal would hear but a quiet screech that took part of the fallen angel’s attention, but not all of it. He wasn’t going to take his attention away from his book to double check who it was, there was no reason to.
Not until a body flopped on top of his own. After a moment, Lucifer risked a glance down, finding bright red and a few black strands of hair resting on his chest, ears flicking before resting too, arms flopped either side of him.
It took a moment to process, but Lucifer realised who it was.

Summary
When Lucifer and Alastor shake hands for the first time and seal their deal, Alastor is taken by the fact that Lucifer's touch doesn't bother him and is maybe even welcome. Lucifer on the other hand simply wants to be himself and notices how easy that is around someone who he doesn't care likes him or not. But none of their notions remain the same when it begins to become clear that it is harder to stay away from one another than either had thought.

While waiting for Charlie and Vaggie to return from Heaven, and the rest of the guests to return from wherever in Hell they went to, Alastor somehow found himself alone with Lucifer. Tension was thick in the air, and while the Radio Demon wouldn't admit it, he was addicted to getting certain types of responses from Lucifer.
