Summary
What starts off as an innocent trip to the beach takes a far more interesting turn for Alastor and Charlie, thanks to a little sunscreen and a very horny shadow. But Alastor's a gentleman at heart (if he has one) and refuses to act upon his urges that are clearly brought on by the heat.

Summary
Set in modern day New Orleans, Louisiana. Alastor owns a restaurant known as ‘By the Bayou’ as a chef. A tasteful jazz inspired lounge and restaurant, there is always a live band playing the sweet sounds of the 1920s to set the mood. Although he would never sully his mothers recipes, he does cater to a special clientele with different tastes. By day he is Alastor Dubois, talented chef and owner, by night he is the infamous serial killer “The Butcher”. Charlotte Magne was or rather still is a student at the Culinary Institute of America for Baking and Pastry Arts with a minor in Hospitality Management. She was excelling in her program until circumstances needed her to step away for a time the being. Once she can go back to New York to finish up her degree she will but until then her parents sent her to Louisiana with her friends Vaggie and Angel to have some fun while they handle the situation at home. However, Charlotte, who prefers to go by Charlie, believes the whole “Idle hands make work for the devil” and wants to get a job while on vacation.
What happens when she meets Alastor when applying for a job? Why did she have to leave NY? Why does Alastor want to leave her gasping but not in the same way as his victims?- Language:

The first time Regulus met the Dark Lord, he was fifteen years old. Sirius had run less than a week before. Looking back, Regulus can only be grateful for that fact. If he had stayed, still been the Black heir, with his unruly hair and a feral edge to his eyes, would the Dark Lord’s obsession have turned upon him instead. The idea makes Regulus shudder. He can’t imagine his stubborn wild brother brought to heel by this monster, but there would have been no other option, not even death was a suitable escape. From the moment Lord Voldemort had laid eyes upon a stiff backed and scared Regulus, he had been doomed.
