Summary
Jiro helpfully suggested that I write something to “let out all my frustration” after the coffee machine broke. I have decided to follow in the footsteps of the legendary American Edgar Allan Poe and try my hand at the fine art of poetry. My first draft was as follows:
My heart bleeds with darkness
Black like the beans of my lifeblood
I scream at the heavens to avenge my loss
They have not listened
They never have
Without my dark elixir I am crushed
Damn machineryDark Shadow, my faithful editor, was perusing my work and insisted that the last line was a smidgen too blunt. It is now:
I will never again rely on the gears of grinding fate
This, I feel, was a worthy first attempt.
(A journal documenting Class 1-A’s daily shenanigans and Tokoyami’s “dark musings”, told from the perspective of everyone’s favorite bird. Ever wanted to know what would happen if Aoyama forced Tokoyami to shop for clothes that aren’t black? It is true that he had been preparing for this question ever since the moment that idea had hit him but right now? His mind was as blank as an unused white board.
"Uhhh, ah...you see" he stuttered, trying to collect his words, "Well, Uravity and I, we have been comrades since our days in UA...so, I deeply respect and admire her. Not only as a fellow Hero but also as a friend and partner."
As soon as he paused, the entire scene burst into chaos.
"Is that a yes or no?"
"Oh my god, does that mean they are high school sweethearts?"
"HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEARTS?!!"
......
On the scenes they were a couple oh-so-in-love. But away from the prying eyes, they are just two best friends trying to navigate through the path of life - together.
A small mishap in front of the media turns Izuku and Ochako's world upside down. But the new proximity eventually forces them to re-evaluate their own enigmatic feelings and what they mean to each other.
