Summary
Oliver sits alone in his office. The sun was setting outside, casting an array of soft orange, yellow and purple around in his office. He leaned forwards in his chair and he cursed another all nighter at the office. Not that he wanted to leave, but he knew his coworkers would give him some drag about it.
He stared at something much more important. Something that would put him on display, vulnerable and exposed for the world to see. Heck, it could possibly land him in trouble… it probably would… Oliver knows what he has done, and that there is a price to pay for such.

Summary
Hugo Banks understands violence.
After thirty-one years of learning that everything has a price, freedom is considerably harder to understand.
At the sanctuary that takes him in, he begins learning the world again through the only languages that make sense to him: color, scent and touch. Apple means distress. Flowers mean happiness. An unlocked door means nobody is keeping him prisoner.
And sandalwood means Dace.
Dace Clarks is an alpha too—calm, patient, impossibly safe. Hugo follows his scent before he trusts his words. Then he starts leaving his own scent behind. Then touching. Drawing. Wanting.
Neither of them expects an alpha to become another alpha's sanctuary.
Their instincts have other ideas.Series

Summary
The sun beat down ruthlessly on his face, and the ambient noise of the base filled his ears. That’s when Harry noticed him. A man, probably a few years older than him, his uniform impeccable, his boots polished to a mirror shine. His posture was terrifyingly rigid. Every movement was precise, calculated, stripped of any human hesitation. On his chest, a silver tag glinted in the harsh sunlight: Sergeant Reed.
or
When Harry is transferred to a military base in Kansas, the last thing he expects is to form a connection with Joel Reed, the sergeant leading his platoon. But as duty and desire collide, the boundaries between them begin to fracture—leaving them to face an attraction they can no longer control.
