Summary
Inspired by December's fic, Mortality’s Fine Print, I wanted a spicy take on the same topic, I don't see very many works involving period sex and, in my experience, long term relationships can be a little silly and weird and still sexy. I wanted to explore that dynamic here while still keeping to the characters we love. Maybe Aragorn proves to be not entirely useless in these matters.

Summary
So, here's the thing. The Fire Nation royal family descended from dragons.
Not in the sense that one of them had scaly tendencies a few million years ago, but in the sense that a dragon saw humans, decided it liked them, and took on the appearance of a human, only to be stuck in that form as punishment from the spirits.
The dragon didn't take it too badly, as he married a princess, had children, and his firstborn rose to power and became Fire Lord.
Zuko, however, had some very good complains to do.
(Where Zuko descended from dragons and has needs, and Sokka is a man on a mission.)

Summary
Zuko tells himself he isn't jealous. But watching Sokka laugh and touch everyone except him makes his blood boil, and not just from firebending. When Sokka follows him into the rain, provoking him one last time, Zuko snaps. What starts as a fight against a tree ends up on the ground, with rain evaporating off their skin and words they can't take back.
