Summary
When notorious bandit Shadow Milk Cookie is forced to flee into the countryside after a shootout gone wrong, he finds himself bleeding out on the dirt road of some no-name farm. Out of all the lousy luck in the world, he’s dragged into the home of Pure Vanilla Cookie—a stubborn, soft-spoken farmer with the strength of an ox and a maddeningly calm demeanor.
Trapped by his own injury and too weak to leave, Shadow Milk is left at the mercy of this maddeningly kind man. But Pure Vanilla is far from defenseless. He’s stronger, steadier, and far too comfortable handling the sharp-tongued outlaw like a misbehaving pup. The bandit’s threats and defiance are met with nothing but disarming smiles, teasing words, and casual dominance—a constant, frustrating reminder that he is not in control.
And yet, Pure Vanilla doesn’t scare easily. No matter how many times Shadow Milk bares his teeth, throws biting words, or even lashes out, the farm boy stands firm, never once treating him like a monster. Instead, he tends to him with steady hands, feeds the horse Shadow Milk likely stole, and even pokes him on the nose, calling him “sugar cube” with a maddeningly warm smile.

Summary
Being labeled as a ‘Beast’ was very accurate when it came to the fallen Virtues in one way or another. Shadow Milk found enjoyment in sowing chaos and deceit to all who would listen, Burning Spice was known for his short fuse and overly destructive nature when he got ‘bored’, Silent Salt had the jam of hundreds on his hands and wasn’t afraid to add to it if he deemed it necessary, Mystic Flour cared not for the ‘frivolous’ wants of cookies and instead found the only true way to reach peace was to return to flour, and Eternal Sugar refused to allow anyone to leave her Garden of Delights for any reason and would use whatever means she deemed necessary to keep her ‘darling cookies’ with her and happy.
This isn’t wrong, but it’s truly only the surface of the Beasts, the part they let -and want- others to see. A part of them that, to them, is a way to keep them safe from the hurt. A mask. A coping mechanism. A way to keep others away from the truth they all would rather ignore. Even themselves.
Though, sometimes, they just need to take a moment to be themselves and not the beasts others see them as, to not be weighed down by expectations and reputations they never asked for to begin with.Bookmarked by StarlightYogurtz

It's been years. I still don't know what you mean. Never return? Yet I have been waiting for you, for all your absence. I.. took on your role for the bit. As I, the Prophet of Knowledge, Pure Vanilla Cookie, will ever do such things for you.
Oh my Fount, my bluebird.. How did you do it.? All these tiring questions you had to deal with.. the same, over and over again, it makes me wonder how naive cookies are. More than one truth for each question.. but which answer must I give? Too much effort.
I will continue carrying your work for you, even as much as it takes.. to spread knowledge without any rest.｡ ₊°༺❤︎༻°₊ ｡
It has been a while since anything interesting has happened to the Prophet of Knowledge, it's usually the same.. the exact routine.. over and over again, until your head hurts.
Pure Vanilla himself does need breaks sometimes, even if he doesn't admit it. After all, this guy doesn't even have friends. Not ever since Fount.. how long has it been since he's seen him..?Then a cookie shows up.
