Summary
Kibitzer came to the Cyber World for one thing and one thing only: To discover something new. Spamton is plenty new and exciting, but the frozen corpses littering the streets and the bloodthirsty Lightner leading their demise are a little... Much.
Still, Kibitzer will follow their new friend through the freezing temperatures and dangerous roads, just for the chance to see him fulfill a dream he can't stop going on about.
But when Spamton pays the price for his dreams, Kibitzer is left in a dying world with only a fleeting voice to keep them clinging to hope.
Now, along with the Goners that have appeared, they find themself surrounded by all the best people who could tell them who Spamton used to be—and maybe... how to save him.

Come to think of it, Hizashi has always had these moments where he seemed a little self-conscious all of a sudden. It's not until Shouta confronts one of his students about the same festival plans that he clues in on why.

“Silco?”
The covers are bunched up on the mattress on the floor, the pile of books that acts as a nightstand knocked down – but Vander’s attention is immediately drawn to the ray of light coming from the slightly ajar bathroom door. Next is an achingly familiar voice, maybe a bit too quiet–
“I’m here, Vander.”
–and it’s almost enough to cover the sounds of broken glass screeching underneath his shoes. Vander looks down to find what looks like the remains of a glass, and a bit of blood smeared onto the floorboards. He swallows past the lump in his throat and lightly pushes the door open.Silco got injured during his shift. Vander comes to help care for him.
