Summary
Xinale, a once prosperous nation's king becomes desperate for stability by offing up his only son's hand in marriage to a neighbouring countries prince. Afraid of execution Xie Lian and one of the guards switch places, now within his new role as body guard he finds himself taken aback by the princes bodyguard (Hua Cheng). However, now he must grapple with the guilt of loving another, six years after the 'death' of his first love (Wu Ming). Whom he met while under a false name, while sneaking out of the castle to help the common people.
Unbeknownst to the two of them they fall in love with each other all over again, while still holding a candle for the others secret identity.
TLDR: Prince Xie lian goes under cover to write the wrongs of his father...and help the common people, yippie. But must also pretend to be the body guard of the "prince", now that he has switched places with one of his guards. Because tricking your betrothed and falling in love with your 'dead' beloved...again... is a good idea?
How many different versions of each other can Xie Lian and Hua Cheng fall in love with or admire? We will find out.

“Gege smells like he’s been claimed by others.” Hua Cheng says, as he moves his hands from Xie Lian’s hips, with one coming to rest over his soft stomach. While the other raked over his chest coming to a stop around his throat. The pressure is enough to claim, but not enough to constrict.“However, they don’t seem to understand you are already…mine.”
At the claiming words Xie Lian felt a searing heat radiate from where Hua Cheng was touching him. Claiming him. Xie Lian can feel his hot slick beginning to drip into his panties, while his dick begins to strain against the same stained fabric.
“What are you going to do about it?” Xie Lian breathily offers, becoming emboldened by the possessive touches and the now throbbing arousal he can feel pressed to his ass.
