With utmost grace, Hyoga blurts. “I like you.”
Shock takes over Shun’s expression. His eyes widen, eyelashes fluttering with the confession. “Like… like-like?” He asks like the child he didn’t get to be.
“God- yeah. Like-like.” While his body typically runs cold, his face burns hot.
With brightness in his eyes, Shun takes his hands and folds them into his own. His palms, covered in warm stardust, envelop Hyoga in sunlight he had never known.
“You do?” Shun beams, voice gentle and sweet and nostalgic.
