Dr Captain Ryland Grace returns to an Earth that had long designated him “history”; 58 years old, and with a body that ached in vicious revenge, Grace wanted to take Rocky and Adrian through the wonders of Planet Earth before his time came.
Rocky and Adrian would very much like it if Grace stopped referencing his mortality, and are finding Earth about as peculiar and spectacular as the man the planet gave them.
Earth is pleasantly surprised to see their intergalactic neighbours at their doorstep, and would very much like to confiscate Grace from Rocky for scientific study, because how the fuck was he still alive.

Six-year-old Jenny is left with her grandfather and uncles for a weekend at the beach, where she learns the special games they played with her mommy when she was Jenny's age. Some of it is confusing and a little scary at first, but there's also fun and lots of good feelings, and Jenny is thrilled to be just like Mommy.
