"Congratulations, you're a father." Steve mutters, Eddie's eyes narrow tiredly in confusion, recoiling in horror when he gets sight of the doll.

Just a breath. Barely a whisper. He was already floating somewhere. The words tingling on his spine.
“I’m…” he was about to deny it, even though it was quite clear, but then Eddie stepped forward, closing the already small gap between them.
