Summary
It was just a simple mission. That was how it started. It wasn't pain, it wasn't agony, it wasn't Laxus Dreyar in a rage of lightning and fists and Gajeel reduced to utter helplessness in his wake. Feelings weren't supposed to be hurt, blood wasn't supposed to be spilled, and now the world is spinning out of control and they're plummeting to the ground unable to stop it. They're both broken in different ways, both trying to hold each the other's pieces together before together they're shattered. There's a monster at the back door. It's clawing and hungry and desperate for flesh to rend and tear. There's no way they're going to survive, not this time, not without being remade into something unrecognizable from what they once were.
Damn.

Summary
“S’that…? The collar’s a little much?” he muttered into his glass as he took another deep drink, feeling his entire body sway back with the motion and then laze forward again as he brought the glass down.
“In the goddamn way, is what it is,” Gajeel muttered and picked up the chain only to throw it on top of the counter. It was long, almost three feet in length. Even stranger, as Laxus studied it, because it was metal, and not a cheap plastic knock-off… which Laxus belatedly realized meant the collar was real and not a bargain accessory. His hazed mind took a moment to process, then, that Gajeel owned a studded, leather collar… and it fit. Why in the hell could Gajeel possibly need a studded, leather –
“Oohh…” he hummed the word out loud, not quite meaning to draw it out so conspiratorially, but not nearly sober enough to stop it. Gajeel glanced up at him again, eyes full of question and then quite suddenly suspicion at the grin creeping across Laxus’s face, “When were you into this shit, hm?”

Summary
This is a little warmup I did. I was trying to write something steamy without being in your face and graphic. So be warned, there's a lot of similes and metaphors. I was trying to make it feel like summer. Let me know what you think, I'm down for some constructive criticism.

Summary
If you asked Laxus, he was rather unadventurous when it came to sex. He preferred something simpler, something that took a lot less planning. You could probably understand then, that it wasn’t Laxus’s idea to sneak into Fairy Tail’s medical ward. It certainly wasn’t his idea to strap Gajeel to the bed. If Laxus were a stronger man, he’d be able to resist. But it’s not really his fault. It’s better when it feels wrong.

Summary
"Nothing?" the prince leaned even closer. Gajeel knew he should be intimidated but his heart was hammering faster with elation instead of fear. He knew now that the robes the prince wore were made from the finest of silks because they were brushing against his hands where he held them motionless before him. He was nearly touching him, “Then why go to so much trouble to travel from the Far East? Wasn’t the journey treacherous?”
“Absolutely,” Gajeel breathed, somehow finding courage hiding behind the thunder in his chest, “but I’ve found that the best treasures are often found after… such things…”
“Treasures, hmm?” his face was close and Gajeel could have reeled from his breath alone. Their knees brushed each other, “I thought you said you weren’t after anything, Kurogane?”
“Nothing of your father’s,” he corrected slyly, a keen grin dragging itself across his face, “Your heart, Prince Laxus, could never be equated to something as trivial as a sultan’s trinket.”
