They stare at each other. Chris feels his heart break and reform in his chest.
He's lying there, displaced in time, bleeding with an infected gunshot wound, and he's asking after Claire.

Things turn very bad very quickly when some no-name rookie turns out to know not only secrets about Umbrella, but also about him selling Umbrella's secrets to the highest bidder. Wesker was already in a difficult position, and Leon S. Kennedy is planning on making his life even harder.
Aka Leon bullies Wesker into saving Raccoon City, and then they go on and change everything else as well, time travel AU

Summary
Chris Redfield is a good friend, but an uncompromising idealist who lives in a black and white world.
There are some secrets you just can't tell a friend like that: stories of temporary alliances, office affairs, gatecrashed Christmas parties, mad-dash raids of hidden research facilities, and so much other fraternizing with his oldest enemy.
The truth is, Albert Wesker is more morally gray than Chris could ever comprehend, and everyone knows it but him.
