Summary
If I hadn't rejected her advances, what would've happened? If I had given in to her desires, what would our relationship have become?
An alternate take on the flashback between Satsuki and Mai in the fourth episode of the anime/at the end of the first novel. Contains sexual assault and self-blame, but Satsuki is obviously not actually at fault for anything that happened and is just being taken advantage of by the woman she loves.
I wrote this off a lot of my own trauma. If I got the tone the way I wanted to, it should be incredibly uncomfortable to read.

Summary
Mizi learned from a young age to temper herself. To hide the predator that lurked beneath her skin. She did this for the sake of retaining the cuteness that Shine adored her for, never quite outgrowing the baseless fear that her mother would take her back to the orphanage.
And she did it for the sake of never hurting Sua too.
She would only succeed at one of these things, in the end.
