“A date?” he asked to make sure he had heard correctly, and Karana nodded eagerly, but when she noticed Astarion’s confusion, her expression became more serious.
“I figured that being back in Baldur’s Gate must feel conflicting for you. It’s your home, but also the place where everything was taken from you.” Her gaze saddened with every word. “So, I would like to show you my Baldur’s Gate. The way I see it. If you like to.”
His face softened and his cold heart warmed at the thoughtful gesture as he smiled at her.
“I’d love that. Thank you, my love.”~*~

Summary
Astarion Ancunín and Karana could not be more different. The one a rising magistrate now living a life of darkness and pain as a vampire spawn, the other a ranger roaming the dense forests near Baldur's Gate. Under normal circumstances, their paths would never have crossed, and even if they had, they would probably not have even glanced at each other, but fate had other plans for them.
When they were both kidnapped by mind flayers and infected with their tadpoles, they must work together to find a way to save themselves and, ultimately, the world. In the process, they got to know each other better and realise that they might just be what the other needed.

“Do I want to know where you got the bottle from, my good Wyll?” he asked, looking at him over the rim of his drinking vessel. Wyll, however, said nothing and only smirked meaningfully which caused Astarion to laugh. “Oh, don’t tell me you have been naughty.”

There was no sense in denying it. Not that Vhyra wanted to. Lying was something she would never do to Astarion.

The predator had only waited for its chance and now, not far from him, lay the body of He Who Was, or rather what was left of him. The belly was torn in two, the intestines lay widely distributed.
Horrified at what he had done, Ender fled so as not to endanger his lover and friends, but none of them were willing to give him up so easily.

Life in the North Country is hard, cold and unreal. Young Viking Levi learns this at an early age. He has to find his place in this harsh world and handle the typical problems of growing up like figuring out his feelings for the Jarl's son Erwin.
As if this isn't hard enough, he is also plagued by ominous visions of the midgard serpent Jörmungandr, who is devouring his friend Erwin. A seer tells him that one day he will kill Erwin. This, she says, is his destiny, but Levi is prepared to rebel against everything to protect his childhood friend. Will he succeed in bending the will of the gods themselves? -

Levi gasped when the device began to vibrate stronger and faster inside of him. His fingers clenched into his trousers again and wrinkled the fine fabric as another wave of pleasure began to build behind his navel, spreading through his entire body, from his toes to his fingers and up to his scalp.
“Is everything alright, Levi?” Erwin sounded perfectly concerned. Only Levi, who knew his partner inside out, was able to hear the smug satisfaction in the deep baritone. “Do you need a glass of water?”
Levi glared at him with a poisonous gaze, causing the corners of Erwin’s mouth to twitch slightly.
“I'm fine,” he said, struggling to regain his usual calm voice.or: Levi has a vibrating butt plug in his ass during a boring marketing meeting- and Erwin has the remote.

Even with his back to him, and his head hidden, Levi recognized him, but for a moment he feared it to be a Fata Morgana. A cruel game played to him by his dehydrated brain. What he hadn’t considered was how many things there were to know about making tea. He had seen it as a rather mundane activity. You pour hot water over tea leaves and wait. There, done, right? That had changed, though, when he saw Levi brewing tea.~*~

“Well, are you tired of the game of court, Your Highness?” asked a deep, calm voice with undisguised mockery. Erwin opened his eyes and sat up. Levi had dived to the surface in the meantime and his arms rested on the pool edge. Water dripped from his wet, ebony hair many metres into the depths until they finally landed almost like raindrops on the marble floor of Erwin's palace.
“I always am,” Erwin replied while he poured wine from a clay carafe that stood beside his four-poster bed. “If their attempts to dethrone me were at least amusing, but they are simple-minded and primitive.”~*~
In ancient Babylonia, merhumans are exterminated by mankind. Only in the king's bedchamber, hidden from all eyes and imprisoned in a cage, Levi, the prince of the seas, ekes out his existence as a prisoner of war and most valuable treasure for over a century.
Erwin, the king of the world, on the other hand, has to struggle with the loneliness that came with the golden throne on which he sat. His only confidant was the merman, who despised him for the atrocities of his ancestors.
One event, however, would completely upset this strange relationship and fragile equilibrium.
