Summary
Rumlow's on his way back from a mission. He's tired and pissed off, and the whole thing was a pain in the ass, especially 'cause it meant he had to be out of the country while Insight was going down. He hopes everything went okay.

Summary
Natasha put her phone down on the desk and pushed it to the opposite edge for them to see. A video was playing, watermarked with the webzine logo for Superhero Sleuth, an internet trash site that normally peddled ridiculous rumors and crazy conspiracy theories. But this video was simple, unfiltered fact: grainy, poorly lit fact, but still, unmistakably Bucky and Sam, showing that one moment Bucky had been trying to bury in the back of his brain for the last three days. Bucky felt his stomach drop to his shoes as he watched it. God, he really did maul the guy, no wonder Sam looked so shaken by it.
“Wow, that’s very… passionate,” Sayuri offered.
Bucky closed his eyes and wondered how, after decades of brainwashing, cryogenics, and torture, that this was the closest he ever felt to being in hell.
OR, the one where the world's newest version of the Avengers is great at everything, except talking to each other about their feelings. Too bad a cellphone video is going to make them do it.

Rumlow wondered if he and the asset were all that was left of the whole organisation, and couldn’t help a bitter laugh escaping from him. He could barely move, could hardly hear or see, and the asset seemed to be about one still firing neuron away from melting down completely. Hail Hydra, everybody. Taken down by one overly sanctimonious soldier dressed in an American flag.
- Or, when the helicarriers fall, the Winter Soldier goes back to rescue Brock Rumlow from the rubble.
