Summary
Summer break during their first year at university. Oikawa and Iwauzmi haven't gotten to spend much time together besides their occasional nightly phone calls since their classes never seemed to synch. However, they decided to rent a cabin together to relive childhood memories of past summers they'd spend with their family's, but this time it was just the two of them.
They thought it'd be a good idea, but maybe spending the entire summer with the person you've been pining after for years isn't smart and maybe they shouldn't have had so much of that wine stored in the cupboard while they sat together by the fireplace.

Summary
Iwaizumi Hajime has been working most of his life toward being in division 1 volleyball as an outside hitter. It took him a long time to make it because power positions are rarely given to Omegas so he will put up with anything to remain there once he makes it. Even if that means having to put up with Oikawa Tooru, an Alpha setter that does not think Omegas can be hitters.
The two butt-heads almost immediately. Life for the team is made rocky by Iwaizumi and Oikawa because Iwaizumi won't back down and Oikawa won't see reason. But the two will have to find a way to fit each other's playing style on the court. And they do.
That's when sparks start to fly and as Iwaizumi starts to realize them he realizes something else; Oikawa has a mark on his ear. He has a mate somewhere. A mate he never talks about. A mate no one ever talks about.
That means that nothing can be done about their possible feelings for each other, right? Are they supposed to pretend they’re not drawn to one another? Is Iwaizumi supposed to back off? Is Oikawa supposed to look at him like that?

Summary
"Fucking pheromones all up in my nose" Oikawa huffs as he crumples up the confession letter, shooting it in a nearby trashcan and proceeds to cover up the lingering scent of the poor omega who wrote the letter with his own pheromones. "Hey! Why'd you throw it? Read the letter at least, don't just crumple it up you idiot" Iwaizumi reprimands, shaking his head at his best friend's annoyance.
"Didn't you smell it? Its drenched with their pheromones, you know I can't stand that shit" Oikawa says with a bite, looking at Iwaizumi but then opens his mouth "ah, you can't tell right? You're lucky, being a beta and all, these things like pheromones and scents can be real annoying" he sighs, laying his head down the table, as he drifts off to sleep.
"I'm glad I'm not an omega then, if you're suffering that much" Iwaizumi says, caressing the soft brown fluff of hair of the boy who sits beside him, the words didn't reach his ears though, didn't contain much feeling. After all, if Oikawa hates omegas that much, loathes them, it didn't involve him in the slightest.
Not until he presents as an omega during the summer.

He heard a click from the gun. Iwaizumi must have turned the safety off. Slowly, Oikawa turned to face him. He kept the frame in his hand and tried to not make any sudden movements. The gun didn't change its position, and when Oikawa was fully turned and facing Iwaizumi, the gun sat snugly at the base of his throat. He met the green eyes of the man before him- seemingly brightened by a beam of moonlight falling across his face- and let out a small breath. "Since I don't know you, why don't you tell me who you are."
Silence lapsed between them, tense and coarse like the too-tight strings of a violin waiting to snap.
"Hajime Iwaizumi. Agent zero-two-seven. Seijoh Syndicate."

The first time Tooru sees Iwaizumi drunk, it’s a Friday during the off-season when he’s sitting on Iwaizumi’s second-hand sofa with a bottle of subpar beer in his hand and a cheese pizza on the coffee table.
It’s shocking, actually, that it’s taken all of twenty-two years for Tooru to finally see his boyfriend drunk. So shocking that he has to set his beer down when Iwaizumi slides up next to him, leaning in close, cheeks ruddy and mouth wet from the alcohol.
It’s shocking, and totally not what Tooru would have expected—
Because when Iwaizumi is drunk, he’s apparently clingy.

The touches felt phantom, and Iwaizumi was reminded of how strong Oikawa’s fingers were; well trained and well kept. All this time in passing, Iwaizumi has always admired the gentle slope of the knuckles and the almost effeminate length of the nimble fingers - fingers of a magnificent setter, through and through. But Iwaizumi had never let himself indulge so far into his brain to think about what they would feel like inside of him, opening him up with the same careful precision Oikawa applied to his meticulous sets that earned him a spot on the world stage.

Prince Oikawa Tooru is from the kingdom of Aoba Johsai a kingdom where alphas rule is law the kings have always been alphas. Betas are the middle class and can become nights or anything they want and is unusual to have a beta commander over an alpha commander. Along with the nobility being mostly alphas. Then there’s omegas that are supposed to sit down and shut up, look pretty, and obey the alphas command and if an alpha demands it the omega is unable to argue about it and must do as commanded.
Then there is the kingdom from across the sea Seijoh that is a weeks journey and is the kingdom Iwaizumi resides in. He is the prince and omega of the kingdom not to mention heir to the throne. His kingdom is ran by omegas and learn to push past the demand of an alphas order. Everyone is treated equally and there are very few alphas in the kingdom. Prince Iwaizumi Hajime along with Yahaba Shigeru advisor to the prince and his chancellor take the week long journey to the kingdom of Aoba Johsai and on his arrival is where our story begins.
