Summary
After the curse breaks, Tohru suggests that Akito start keeping a gratitude journal - this fic consists of a few select entries.
At first, Akito struggles to find things to be grateful for - can you really be grateful because your migraine isn't quite as terrible as it could be?
But with time, she finds moments of meaning and joy, like going out for tea with Hanajima and realizing that she likes cats. She's grateful for her partner, and for the unexpected personal freedom that she finds beyond the curse.
She also discovers that while some people are ready to forgive her for her past misdeeds, others aren't - and she has to learn to be okay with that, too.

Her body was bony and weak, her eyes were ringed, and she had eczema on her elbows. Her lower lip had a scrap of dead skin peeling off of it.
Everything godly about her was gone. It had been there, and then it wasn’t. I had loved her so much I would have jumped off a cliff for her amusement, and now I was just annoyed that she still hadn’t figured out how to wash her own clothes."
Shigure has loved Akito since before he ever met her. Nothing can touch that deep abyss of love - not infidelity, not abuse, nothing. But when the curse breaks and Shigure has to learn to love her as a flawed human being.
This story moves from Shigure's first dream about Akito to the moment they realize that they're about to become parents, and tracks the changes in their relationship over those years.

When Kyo comes down with the flu, Tohru asks Yuki to stay with her husband while she goes to work. Yuki has plenty of time - he and Machi are on an semi-permanent break - so he obliges. This is easier said than done, though, because he can't seem to ignore his love for both Tohru and Kyo.
