The famous and all-winning Double Black gets put aside to gather dust after a battle against a kaiju leaves one of its pilots badly injured. Four years later, the threat against humanity is too dire to afford not to use a fully functional jaeger. Ozaki Kouyou orders Dazai to find a new copilot and fight again.
Chuuya is all for it. Dazai is not. Kunikida finds himself trying to understand the gap full of unsaid things that stands between them both.

Summary
The boy was scared.
This was nothing new. The boy cannot remember the last time he slept soundly without fear; the last time he felt love and affection; the last time he smelt clean air or felt the sun on his face.
But this...this was a different kind of fear. The kind of fear that had the boy's blood running cold. The kind of fear that had his breath wheezing from his lungs in panicked pants.
This was fear for his life.
His legs are aching, they feel like they are about to collapse with exertion and yet he pushes on, willing himself to be faster as he flees through the dirty alleyways, zig-zagging this way and that with no comprehension of where he's going. This city is entirely new to him and he is flying blind.
The footsteps behind him are drawing ever closer. The boy doesn't dare to look behind him, for fear of what he knows is looming in the darkness: the large hulking shapes, the glint of sharpened steel, the putrid scent of death.

Summary
Dorothea was wooed by his sunshine and warmth, but she is still just a once-opera lead in unfamiliar territory. Ferdinand needs someone he can trust to be by his side. There’s a lot of work to be done in the aftermath of the war, and at home, there is so much to adjust to.
It’s like learning a new dance together: its unfamiliarity means there will always be stumbling blocks along the way. But they step forward together nonetheless.

Summary
Post-graduation. The saying goes: if you love someone, let them go. Luckily, this does not apply to Tsukasa. He most certainly does not love Leo Tsukinaga. Unfortunately he also can't seem to let him go - though not for lack of trying, mind you.
in which Tsukasa realizes that the truth of the matter is that all third-years make bad life choices and now it's his turn, Hajime and Tori are too put upon as friends, the rest of Knights have front row seats to a romantic dramedy, and Leo pulls a disappearing act - but only for so long.

in which a balcony scene unfolds when all Hajime wanted was to get some fresh air - but it's as if Tsukasa's personal goal is to steal his breath away instead.
