"Yeah." Loyalty and devotion, right? Between business partners? "I do. It's traditional, isn't it?"
Zhongli's eyes glow a warm amber in the near darkness, reflecting the soft shine of the lanterns. He studies his face with a strange intensity, as though Childe were a piece of high quality Nocticulous Jade being sold for suspiciously small sum and he's trying to find the blemishes that would explain the price. The weight of his gaze should be uncomfortable, boring into him like he can see into the very depths of his abyss-tainted soul, but Childe finds himself preening under the attention instead.
Childe accidentally proposes to Zhongli. Zhongli accepts.

Summary
Dottore and Signora capture the dragon Morax, effectively canceling Childe’s mission in Liyue and wasting his time. They bring the fallen Archon to Snezhnaya to gift him to the Tsaritsa, but Childe realizes he’s met Morax before with a different face and intervenes to spare his life. The Tsaritsa allows Childe to keep Morax as his “pet” on the condition that he remained leashed.
Childe has saved Zhongli, and he is certainly more than a pet, but Childe has no intention of letting Zhongli go.

Giorno's quite sure he did - he always does. It's part of his nightly routine, though it's really more of a ritual, to check over and over, that he's locked the doors, turned the stove off, that his team - his family - is still alive and breathing.

This wasn’t the first time Tim had taken a shine to him. The man, all grins and charisma, was often the only person who even spoke to him outside of a professional manner. Elias went unnoticed for the most part. That’s what made Tim… intriguing, but irritating. He was never good at picking out his own emotions, or why he experienced them. And that too extended to why he felt annoyed at Tim’s persistence. He just couldn’t say.
The Eye demands him to know, and his own personal anguish glowers at the idea of entertaining this sudden interpersonal relationship. Who needs outside relationships? Because that’s clearly gone well with Peter. Plus, it adds. He’s your employee. He likes you, but he wants something from you. They always do.
