There was a difference, Anakin thought, between knowing and knowing.
Intellectually, he was aware that Mandalorians, and by extension the clones, were different from most sentient species. They could change their shape, from one form that was almost human, to one that resembled scaled down versions of Loth-wolves. Animals given human form, some said.
Meeting the clones was still a shock.

It is a little jarring, when that corruption finally leaves him. He’s not sure what truly does the trick, maybe that last little push from Sage, or just some little parting gift from what remains of the Ancients. Sonic isn’t sure. Whatever the case may be, his body cannot decide if he should cry, or pass out.
The same must be true for the rest of his friends, because as he casts a weary glance over them all, they look equally as strained. But Chaos, it is good to see them whole, well and truly whole. Though unscathed might not be an accurate term, for any of them.
