* can't even fathom how its been so long -- or that our wishing could have been so wrong
Post Chapter 5, Kris and Noelle’s simmering feelings about their shared affections for Susie come to a boil with crimson-stained results.
Perhaps this was always what the two needed to be honest about their feelings for each other.

Summary
“It wasn’t a big deal or anything, if you’re worried about that. We were just kind of friend-kissing.”
“Susie, I don’t know what friend-kissing is supposed to be,” Noelle said.
“It’s like. You know,” Susie stumbled, “like if you need to figure out how to kiss or whatever and you got somebody to help you out—and that guy helps you get better at it, it’s like—you know!”
“I-I do?”
“Yeah,” she stressed, “you and Kris used to do it all the time!”
Or, Kris decides flirting lessons aren’t all that bad of an idea. Consequences? What consequences?

Honestly if you're in the Krusielle Business you don't need me recommending this to you because you already know it. Probably THE seminal krusielle fix but I gotta give my shouts where its earned.
I absolutely absolutely love when Krusielle is messy and entangled and also kind of bitter like morning coffee but ends up coming together in the end. And holy moly does this fic deliver.
Shoutouts to when I first read it and the narration mentioned one to two hours in the first chapter. I think I screamed "GIRL 2 *HOURS????*" out loud.

Summary
Asriel Dreemurr and December Holiday have spent their entire lives tangled together in one way or another. Sleepovers, lake trips, late-night drives, dumb jokes, bad decisions, and a friendship so close that most people stopped questioning it years ago.
Now, senior year is ending, adulthood is creeping closer, and for the first time, “someday” is coming up fast. College. Jobs. Moving out. The future.
The problem is, neither of them really knows how to imagine a life that doesn’t include the other.
A slow-burn story about growing up, falling in love by accident, and building a home with another person long before you realize that’s what you’re doing.

Absolutely fantastic. Slow Burn friends to lovers? I'm here for it. This was really sweet. Made me tear up, almost. (Is it wrong to be jealous of a fictional character? Like from a wish fulfillment stance.) Thank you for this food.

Summary
Noelle was there, at the center of it all, so she only heard what it was like for everyone else in the days that followed. The smell of dust in the air. The way the shadows, cast by no light, started to squirm. The wave of nausea that rolled through the town, old wounds aching and scars unsealing themselves.
Then, the sound of the bunker door slamming shut.
She's certain they hated her. Maybe they still do. It was Noelle's dark world that Susie never came back from, after all.

Grief Situationship Kriselle is the kind of content that makes my brain go wild. Hurt no comfort but the kissing doesn't count as comfort (Messy as hell even if it's nice.) and just: the sheer monotony and tension of it all. Mwah. This fic feels like surgery without anaesthesia /pos.
Also, while I feel this fic leans towards hurt/no comfort (at least in the traditional defenition of comfort) the next two in the series are really sweet. Sort of a further along post-healing kind of vibe. Consider it dessert for this fine meal <3

Really really sweet. I like when hurt/comfort takes time. It's all about the Process.
