Summary
The story of my two favorite characters finding love buried under hundreds of thousands of words of friendly banter, political bungling, and one boy learning what it means to be a proper Archduke Candidate. Lord Melchior of Ehrenfest does his best with the aid of many original characters and his four named retainers from the books. I hope to explore his relationship to his family and noble society and how an actual child might react to some of the struggles Rozemyne faced during her ascent.

Summary
Verdrenna meddles in human affairs, unleashing a cascade of improbable events that are unlikely in any "proper" continuity, but boy are they fun. The story centers primarily on interactions in the lower city and the temple.
This story is set around the beginning of Part 4 in the Bookworm series, and shortly after Part 11 of Herald of Spring. Reading HoS isn't required to follow the main changes here, though you'll start off a bit lost about certain characters (most become clear through context fairly quickly).
