Beautiful characterization. My favorite part is definitely Yagura going queen politics are relaxing compared to the Kiri clan wars, calling Minato out for queerbaiting and having no one believe him.
I wish there was a little more explanation on the Sand village.

Summary
In another life, Orochimaru never leaves Konoha, opting to remain within the village that equally reveres and reviles him. Fighting a bitter battle against forces within the village that are more influential and well-positioned, he finds himself gifted with one last shining opportunity: three children, a team of genin, handed to him because Konoha has no better choice. Orochimaru agrees to become a jounin-sensei for the first and the last time, taking on the next generation's Team Seven: Uchiha Sasuke, Nara Shikamaru, and Uzumaki Naruto.

Really fun "alternate sensei/genin team" fic. I appreciate the ways that orochimaru has been "redeemed" as a protagonist while still remaining true to character manipulative and ruthless. It is gratifying character wise and fits the pic's themes of how morality (and how selfishness can coexist). -
