He was wrong. The way that Eijirou was sweet with him, laughing and smiling into the kiss and the way that he propped himself up on an elbow just to be able to hover over Katsuki and hold his jaw in his hand just right, looking at him with stars in his eyes as he touched his thumb to soft skin.

Reki Kyan isn’t a genius by any means.
Sure, he’s not dumb. At least he doesn’t think he is. Like, if you were to set a math assignment in front of him, no problem. That’s a breeze. He’ll be done with time to spare and could probably double check his work a solid three times in the time remaining. But if you were to put some English homework in front of him...that’s a different story. He’d sit there and scan the words for a few minutes even though they’re not getting through his skull. Maybe he’d tap his foot and click his pen a little as if it’ll make the time go faster. He’d scribble on the paper a bit, but then end up giving up and trying to do it in the morning by rapidly writing in answers while Langa hovered over his shoulder.
So Reki’s not a genius.
But he’s definitely, like, smart to some degree. Right?
So he’s around 99.91% sure that Langa’s trying to find excuses to touch him.

His heart jumped in his chest at the sudden switch in language. He fumbled with the translator in his pocket, praying he wasn't being as obvious as he felt like he was as he took it out and glanced at the screen. He remembered Langa had told him chéri meant fool.
But there in bright pixelated letters glowed the word sweetheart.
Sweetheart.
What..?”
Or Langa speaks French and uses it to get his emotions under control. Reki however, makes it a little difficult.
