Summary
She had to go on further, be smarter, be stronger than them. Her arms quivered at the elbow, pushing her back up onto all fours. She forced her legs to raise her up, gripping the rim of the sink, pulling herself back to life. Labored breaths passed through her lips as her face came hazily into view, reflected in the filthy, cracked mirror in the wall facing her. Catra focused her eyes in on the blue and amber pools across from her. And she still hated them. She watched her chest heaving wildly, pumping this sordid air in and out of her lungs. The woman in the mirror shuddered as her shoulders were forced up and down by her diaphragm. A single strand of hair hung limp across her forehead. She could see it all again: the past, the things she’d done, floating in this woman’s murky expression. She wanted to look away, but was too weak to. If she looked away she would collapse again. Could she stand the pain of rising up once more?
Compilation of extra canon-compliant scenes and oneshots from Catra's perspective throughout the mainline show.

Summary
"'Hey…what’s it feel like?'
Without prompting, the question tip-toed from Catra’s lips, curious and gentle. Still unable to sleep after hours of dozing, her thoughts had caught on the unknown sensation, a process she’d witnessed hundreds of times before from both sides of the battlefield. Now, though, something about this line of questioning felt more urgent, as if it had been the single anxiety keeping her awake all of this time."

Catra has a question and she’s not sure she can sleep until she knows the answer.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
