The people of the desert clung to them fiercely, for they shaped their traditions—traditions that, since the founding of the village, had guided them to prevent old conflicts, once dormant, from erupting again.After all, no one lived long enough to keep the same mistakes from being repeated.
Unaware of an ancient tale that proved the importance of having a companion to share the burden of leading his village and granting it the harmony it lacked, Gaara is forced by the council to honor that tradition.
Now he finds himself resigned to choosing a future wife to fulfill that role.
And to Sakura Haruno’s misfortune, she was the one chosen.
