Synopsis:
When Hermione Granger is accidentally cut by an old Malfoy Family Heirloom, a matrimonial blade, an ancient magic seems to think she is betrothed to the last Malfoy heir, and begins to pull her into Draco’s bed every night, at midnight.
A non-epilogue compliant Dramione fan fiction.

I LOVE ROMANTASSY SM!! So I really enjoy it when fanfic authors go out of their way to incorporate as much of the dark magic lore into the plot. On top of that the plot twist was craaaazyyyyy!! Highly recommend for those into this genre with some spice . Have yet to read the novel too(one of the many dramione fics turned published work lurveeee)

The ball had been underway for about an hour before he caught his first glimpse of her. He was off to the side, chatting with his parents and Astoria, who was preening under all of the attention she had received as the newly announced, future Mrs. Draco Malfoy. Granger was standing across the dancefloor, with her back to him, engaged in conversation with Potter and some higher-up from the Ministry, her wild curls making her instantly recognizable. She was wearing a golden evening dress – like the Gryffindor queen that she was – a Muggle fashion that showcased her curves. Even from behind, without seeing her face, she was practically stopping his heart she was so gorgeous. And then she turned around and he thought his heart might have actually stopped for a moment.
Granger was pregnant.
Granger was noticeably pregnant. Probably around five months pregnant. Which meant that she had been pregnant the night that they had ended things, three months ago. The night that she had confirmed that she was exclusively sleeping with him, and had been exclusive with him for the preceding several years.

The whole secret pregnancy trope is lowkey a guilty pleasure of mine lol so enjoyed it for being one of the first post-hogwarts knocked up fics I read to pull it off hehe, one of the easier reads with just 7 chapters in less than 50k words - def a must read for starting out Dramione!!

I'm not gonna lie, this fic broke me hahahahaha :'), like my two previously bookmarked fics, combines both the secret relationship trope in a AU non-voldemort setting, which I love but omg did the tragic take on this whole sordid affair somehow took a toll on my emotions. Absolutely gut-wrenching I tell you. Based loosely off of Normal People by Sally Rooney but make it Dramione. I already knew what I was getting myself into yet it tore me apart nonetheless.
Love the execution of the fic but I think honestly it might've been the heartbreakingly distant golden trio friendship(or lack of) that also added to the sadness factor of this fic like omg they really didn't have to go there, truly instilled and solidified the feelings of being an outcast and alienation. Like it wasn't enough as it is in canon, oh poor Hermione wanna hug her so badly in this fic, Draco's initial dismissal and discarding of Hermione's feelings made him so ruthless in the early chapters. Therefore, having her self-esteem issues on top of the whole blood status inferiority added to the angst factor and made it an emotionally hard read but glad to have pulled through the end to reach a HEA after all!
Overall a very mentally taxing and heavy fic filled with sexual tension and societal pressures. Read at your own risk, if you're a masochist who enjoys being stabbed in the heart multiple times by all means enjoy. :D

One of the first dramione fics I've read in a AU Non-Voldemort setting which I truly enjoyed due to how Hermione's blood status still proves to be a prevalent recurring issue on this fic, wish I could say more but still a WIP :') till her next update!!

THIS!! An actual depiction go how I imagined a secret relationship(more like enemies with benefits lol) between Hermione and Draco would have went down in their 6th year, and yes it is a slightly toxic take but just to my liking hehe. As I've always imagined if it were to happen, the ending would be as how the Akashathekitty executed it so as it wouldn't affect the events of deathly hallows so kinda semi canon-compliant ish take if you will. Unfortunately, her sequel to this fic hasn't been updated in ages but I can always imagine it as them marrying their canon partners instead so as to have Scorose in the future hehe.

One of the first of it's kind I read that had an absurdly illegal amount of crazy tags in one fic that tagged just about every bloody kink and questionable scenes that might sound deterring but I absolutely LOVED IT!
Literally had me GAGGING in the best way possible!! Every dreamland scene had me in a chokehold and my jaw dropping at its intensity, even before they warned me of the greenhouse scene. Didn't enjoy the ending as much as I thought I would have but most of the loose ends were tied so at least there's that, personally think it's cause the pairings were a bit everywhere but didn't serve to be an issue for the most part cause the highlights were def the dreamland scenes and arranged marriage trope(or getting out of more like)
Ironically, my favourite scene was the Hogwarts library, which wasn't even a dreamland scene at all but loved the intensity of the confrontation despite occurring so early in the fic hahahahaha! Definitely a must read if you're into the tags listed, or even for the plot itself!

Another cult classic of the fandom commonly found in tiktok recs for Dramione fics!! Truly loved the author's depictions of adult Draco and Hermione, albeit on the lengthier and more descriptive style of writing, I still enjoyed the premise of the fic covering on mature takes of parenthood, long term illnesses and family themed issues, with bit of mystery/action towards the end.
Absolutely LOVED bby scorpius in this fic, and the whole girls night was so wholesome and needed for Hermione's wellbeing. One of the best written in the Dramione fandom for a multitude of reasons and leans towards a much healthier approach towards the pairing while still maintaining an intense slow-burn. Well done Inadaze22!

Tribute to one of the earliest fics I've read, an absolute OG from ff.net that reeled me in the endless void of Dramione fanfiction!! The ever iconic "Now your Blood's filthy too!" scene will forever be ingrained in my mind. Classic Hogwarts era, lovehate, enemies-to-lovers trope 10/10 always a good reread or as an entry level fanfic to reading Dramione fics hehe.
