Thor has had a really rough time lately.
A year ago, his brother betrayed and tried to kill him, and then fell to his death.
Just a few days ago, Thor learned that Loki was alive and about to rain destruction upon the world Thor had come to love.
And now, Thor has brought Loki back to Asgard to face justice for his crimes.
What happened to the little brother he loved?
Thor has to be strong. He has to be the noble prince he failed to be before. He can’t let his pain bring others down. He can’t let his friends know how much he is hurting. He can't succumb to this weakness.
Sometimes the worst darkness a person must face is not a physical enemy.A rewrite of "Thor: The Dark World" that fits into "The Consulting Heroes `Verse."

Summary
Thor knew something was weird, he was just not quite able to put his finger on it. His Father had hastened him to return to Earth, weakening himself in the process, no doubt, as the Rainbow Bridge was still...out of commission to say the least. What he had not expected was to have his father wish him to return with his brother, Loki. He had thought Loki dead, but it would seem that was not quite correct. That alone is suspect, he had fallen into the Void, after all, and none survive the void. Needless to say, his twist of memories, though Thor knew a good portion of what he had told him on the rock was true, there was something that ringed...off with what he was saying. It made more sense when he got more information though, but he had no idea how to fix his little brother.

Summary
The second Prince is back to Asgard to suffer the consequences of his actions on Earth and Jotunheim. But there was something wrong with the Prince, Fandral had noticed before he got thrown in the dungeons. Not that he should care. He's a criminal after all.. Eventually Fandral finds Loki in his cell in... not a very good condition. Everything takes an unexpected turn and Fandral has to deal with more things than expected.. including his foolish feelings.

He was in pain.
He was in serious pain and Thor could do nothing to help him.
Loki, his brother, was lying in Thor's own bed. Too fragile to be moved anywhere. He had been there for days. Thor wasn’t counting.
.........."Thor…" Loki said weakly. Thor stood up from the chair at his bedside and grabbed Loki’s left palm. He was very sweaty and his skin was so cold. "Ow…Thor it … it hurts… don’t touch…" Loki said with a pained voice. He moved his head slowly, side to side, as if looking for his brother. As if he couldn’t see him.
