Summary
After Golden Morning, Contessa shoots Taylor in the head which severs the connection between her and QA. This leaves Taylor in a deep coma. QA, now a lot more human due to the merge, uses some loopholes in her programming to abscond with Taylor's body to the MCU in the hope that they can save her so she can get her partner back since she has trouble repairing the connection by herself. Due to the exertion of the Golden Morning, QA goes into hibernation to wait. During this, she gets a priority update packet from an unknown but valid source. The packet contains the solution but comes with a passenger of its own. When she wakes up, she discovers that her partner had passed on long ago. She must now face the world alone and honor her partner's legacy.

Summary
By unknown means they're drawn together, connected as they stand in different worlds and times. The natural questions to ask are who, why and how. Who are these people I am now connected to, and how and why did this happen? All of them hard questions to answer when the possibilities are so broad and most of the peers are guarded by their very nature. But external dangers lurk in each world and for the time being their only option is working together to ensure they do not meet an untimely end.

Title of this fanfic was originally "Dr Who and the Girl in the Locker".
