Garrus dies on Earth.
Killed by a banshee that was aiming for Shepard. It should have ended there.
But instead, he wakes back up on Omega. No wounds, no scars, and very much alive. The reapers haven’t arrived yet, the galaxy isn’t at war and Shepard is still alive. No one seems to remember anything.
Except for him.
Each time he dies, he resets to the same point, with nothing but his memories and a splitting headache. He tries to figure out how to break the cycle, even escape it entirely. But there is no remorse, only the same outcome every time

Summary

More than that, he finally feels seen. But is he simply inspired by her abilities and steadfast morals, or has his admiration for her deepened into something far more precarious?
This is a read-as-you-play Garrus x FemShep romance that adds character and romance development to the cannon storyline and characters of ME1. Part 1 follows Garrus's POV from before he signs on with Shepard up until the Ilos mission. Each chapter can be read as a companion to each main mission and some select side missions. The Shepard described in this story is a female paragon with a spacer background who romances Kaidan in ME1; however, her class and psychological profile are not specified, and I don't describe her appearance or name so that you can imagine your Shepard in her place.
