Summary
Peridot is not happy. Her parents, fed up with her reclusive behavior, have shipped her off to Camp Dewey for the whole summer. Frankly, she wants nothing to do with this whole affair: hiking, canoeing, and bug bites are not her scene. However, as soon as she arrives, broken hearts, betrayals, mystical lakes, secret meetings, and grossly oversharing intimate details make themselves apparent. This situation might end up a whole lot more like her beloved Camp Pining Hearts than she thought.
