Summary
Breaking into one more secure facility shouldn't have changed Dean's life all that much. He and Sammy would take care of whatever monster was causing all this fuss, and get back on the road.
Instead, he found out that aliens exist, was caught by the Air Force of all people, and accepted a bond with a Dom to keep both Sammy and himself out of federal prison, or worse.
And apparently his new Dom wasn't impressed with him trying to escape the planet. Figured.

Summary

Castiel is everything that Dean could ever want in a partner (handsome, charming, tall, good in bed, etc.), and everything he could never want in a partner (traditional, controlling, possessive, cocky, irritating, etc.). As a result, Dean *despises* Castiel. If his husband's annoying behavior weren't enough, Dean slowly comes to the realization that Castiel is sitting on a dark secret, and he makes it his life's mission to find out just what exactly the alpha's hiding.
