George checked his watch. “Think this was a record for us. Just a couple hours, and we don’t even have Kipps or Holly.”
“Not bad for a Type 2,” Lucy said with an impish grin.
Lockwood frowned. Then why am I so tired, if it was that simple? He and Lucy had kept the rather sluggish specter at bay while George secured the source, it truly hadn’t taken much effort. But for some reason he felt like he could lie down on the ground right that second and take a nap.
Or, in which Lockwood finally catches up on sleep, although not for reasons anyone’s happy about.
