Summary
They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, but for a sapling to flourish and reach the sunlight, it must escape the tree's shadow. The larger the tree's canopy, the harder it is for the apple to take root and reach the sky. However, people are more adaptable than saplings; for them, the spots of light through the leaves may be just enough.
Childe, son of this generation's most popular actor, and Lumine, daughter of that very actor's personal agent, have each other's friendship thrust upon them by their parents. For better or worse, they stand on the common ground under their parents' shadows.

Summary
“You know me.” Lumine realized, the caution that laced her voice making his eyes spark with something she couldn’t quite catch before his lips lifted into a small, almost careful smile.
“I do.” He calmly returned as he remained standing in place, seemingly not wanting to scare her further as his dark eyes not once strayed from hers. “But it seems like you don’t know me.”
The weight of his words hung heavy in the silence that filled the room and Lumine dug her fingers into the shelf behind her, the blonde keeping his gaze for a moment longer before she spoke.
“Am I supposed to?”
“Given the circumstances, I don’t expect you to, but to answer your question, yes.” He admitted, and when he took a careful step closer, Lumine pressed herself harder against the shelf behind her. “My name is Childe.”
And when he lifted his gloved hand and saw her golden eyes catch sight of the silver ring adorning his finger, he offered her a soft, almost sad smile.
“And I am your husband.”

When Lumine loses her memories, Childe decides to keep her until he finds a way to return them to her by pretending to be her husband.In which one loses her memories, and the other his heart.
