Summary

When Hallow is awakened, she will have to make a choice - save Halloween, or save the Shadowy Nighmare King who seems to be keeping secrets from her...

“Is…this not a good time, Ryder?” Jaal asked, pulling her mind from her thoughts and forcing her to refocus - but gods, it was difficult.
“Sorry,” she apologized, and her voice was almost a sigh - not at all as firm or even as irreverent as it usually was. His scent was there again, at the edge of her senses, and a hyper-focused need to breathe him in overtook any common sense. She stepped close, inhaled slowly and not as subtly as she wanted, and when she smiled it was slow and silly. “Today’s been weird.”
“You look dazed, Sara,” Jaal said slowly, the pitch of his voice resonating through her core and sending another thrill of heat through her. “Perhaps you should lay down?”

Summary
Marianne Fairfield is placed under a Witness Protection program a year after faking her own death to get away from her husband, Roland Knight, leader of The Knights - an organized body of criminals stationed in the USA. Marianne has been offered to reclaim the life that was stolen from her if she can testify against the very man who has haunted her dreams for years, that is, of course, if they can find him before he gets to her. She is placed under the care of one of the FBI agents who came and got her, a man who goes by the name Bog - one of the FBI's top agents. She is moved back into civilization, with Bog at her side, posing as a married couple in the suburbs as his team searches for Roland.
