Summary
A universal constant is that Shota Aizawa always finds himself in charge of educating Problem Children.
In this universe, he makes the ill-considered choice to volunteer to teach not only a few, randomly-selected Problem Children, but an entire Problem Class of curated students.
The students of Class 1-A include those with terrifying Quirks, personal issues which they have to overcome to become effective heroes, or – most worryingly – both.
If his plan succeeds, then Aizawa will oversee the next generation of great underground heroes.
If it fails? Well, Tartarus is quiet this time of year, right?
(AU: UA is a university. Classes 1-A and 1-B are power-swapped to have Quirks which are the opposite of canon, an ironically suitable Quirk, or a concerning personality-Quirk combination. Class rosters are also different from canon. Slight changes to the setting as a whole.)

That is until he meets a strange man by the name of Aizawa Shota; a teacher who's like no other Izuku has ever met before. Caring and kind, someone who actually listens. Perhaps there is a light at the end of the tunnel after all?
Maybe not all Heroes need a license to be a Hero.

He didn’t look like a man with a tragic past, he looked like a boy. If he wasn’t completely blind in that eye, he would almost believe it was one.“You look so manly,” Kirishima breathes.
“No,” Todoroki says with a smile. “I look like my mother. I look womanly.”

And suddenly so many pieces of the puzzle drop into place.His eye is unseeing. White pupil. Milky iris. With the skin around it poreless and hairless. Easy to cover up with makeup. Oil-less and unmoisturized. Like a scar. Like a burn.
“Todoroki,” Mina says softly. The brush she’s holding drops to her lap. “This isn’t a birthmark I’m covering up, is it?”

Summary
A waft of spice hit Ochako’s nostrils and she reeled back in shock. She has faced down countless villains since coming to UA. She has been in battle and in hand to hand combat possibly a hundred times. She faced Overhaul’s minions with support from her peers, but otherwise without outside help. But no villain with a terrifying quirk has ever struck her with more fear than quirkless Melissa shoveling curry made of peppers so deadly it killed an unprepared Pro Hero famous for his spice tolerance on live TV. Deku was still guzzling water directly from the sink, Tokoyami’s quirk was crying in pain as he casually shoveled more into his mouth, and Melissa was handling the spice like a pro.
Being biologically quirkless came more with an extra pinkie joint in the toes and a stunning lack of vestiges mutations. It came with smaller things, like extra teeth that did virtually nothing, exploding organs, and weird exposed nerves that weren't designed to feel pain.
