“I need you to break the curse,” Donghyuck says, his embarrassingly desperate voice breaking the silence between them. He’d come in so strong, and now he can’t help but cower a bit. “How much will it cost me?”
“For my labor and the materials I’ll have to use, probably only $30. It’s really quite simple to reverse. However,” Yuta steps out from behind his counter and walks toward Donghyuck, the floorboards thrumming beneath his every step. “I’ll be missing dinner if I do it now.” In their close proximity, Donghyuck notices how Yuta smells. It’s sweet and fragrant, and it doesn’t help Donghyuck’s fight or flight. One of his hands comes up, and hovers over Donghyuck’s chest before it seems to magnetically press against it. “I’ll need to have your heart.”

“It’s, um,” Renjun says after about thirty million years of silence. “I’m just concerned about the ‒ you know ‒ the, um, the person I would be working with.”
Kun blinks. “You mean Yangyang?”
Yes, of fucking course, Yangyang.
“Um,” Renjun says, because he can’t say that. “Yes.”
“What about him?”
“He’s just so… And I’m so…”
Basically, what Renjun wants to say is this: Yangyang plays loud hip-hop garbage noise for unemployed, unhinged people and makes crass, inappropriate jokes on public radio while I play actual music for people who actually have jobs and I actually comply with the region’s broadcasting standards.
Except he can’t say that or he’ll get fired. So.

Renjun can't think of anyone less like him than Yangyang. When they're thrown together to co-host a radio show, though, he must look past their differences, and, in the course of doing so, begins to see Yangyang in a brand new light.
