Summary
Transtempus- adj. "across time." A laugh bubbles from nearby, soft and breathy. “Yeah, there’s no way you would ever let yourself be Caught, not even by Jean!”
Grin spreading across his face again, Eren puffs his chest up and proudly states, “Yeah, never!”
Mikasa peers at the two, head tilting as she pauses in her task of keeping her eyes peeled for danger to ask, “Not even by Levi?”
Eren freezes. His wide gaze quickly darts towards the curious alpha. Mouth opening and closing, over and over, he attempts to kick his brain back into motion. With a heated huff, he finally spits with fiery indignation, “No! Like I said, only the best alpha can have me. Why should I just let myself be Caught when only the strongest is going to be the one to Catch me?”
“Do you think that alpha is the best?” Mikasa continues to question.
Eren chokes on his own spit, struggling to find a way out of this less-than-comfortable conversation.
Upon finding a gravely injured alpha amidst an Omega Run, Eren is determined to repay the stranger by healing and tending to him until he's back on his feet. No doubt, Levi will be the one to finally Catch the untameable omega.

Eren should've known to be careful around potentially gang adjacent men with obsessive tendencies and the need to dominate beautiful little things like himself. Especially men like Levi, who want to be in control and own all of Eren's being.
