Summary
Someone with power and resources has created synthetic Kryptonite and is gunning for Superman. Batman warned Superman of the dangers of tagging along on a mission like this -- one where he's the obvious target of a dangerous plot -- but Superman seems to like danger a little too much. He seems to like dangerous men as well. You can't get much more dangerous than the Dark Knight of Gotham City.

His feet hit hard and his knees buckle beneath him. It hurts when his hands skid on the decorative rug, the price he pays for catching himself to keep from flopping face-first into the ground.
