Summary
Count Orlok received her with food and wine. With candles which blazed orange on her skin. He held himself away from the light and watched avidly as she ate. He was dressed as an ancient nobleman of the region demanded, his heavy fur-lined cape sumptuous, his face shadowed beneath a tall kalpak hat. But he shrunk into his clothes, something rotten hidden behind a carapace, more obscene than her nudity.
A gothic fairytale.

Summary
Consciousness in the dreamstate is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, you never want it to end. On the other, the life force is being drained from you by a blood-sucking monster. In the final moments before she awakens out of the dreamstate, she wonders - every time, without fail - if she wouldn’t rather remain in the dream.

He has never seen anything like this video in all his life, and he can’t stop staring. The woman on the next barstool laughs at him. “What,” she teases, “You got a nun kink, or something?”
Perhaps he has. He does some research. And he summons up the nerve to say something to Agatha about it, but he can't make eye contact as he does.
