Summary
Ben Solo is a well-known pastry chef in Las Vegas but he quits after receiving word that his grandmother had bequeathed her beloved bakery and homestead in his name. As part of the stipulation for him to inherit, he'll have to run the bakery and restore the farmhouse. Of course he couldn't do all that alone so he posts an ad in the local community board. He has absolutely no idea that his new handyman housemate was in fact a woman.
Sweet-toothed Rey is a scholarship student that needs cheap lodgings. She exchanges her skills as a handyman for a discount at the farmhouse that's being renovated. It's a pretty good deal too seeing as her housemate loved to bake. Who else would benefit from all those experimental desserts?
Hilarity ensues as City Boy tries very hard to Countryside and not fall in love.

“We’re not finished yet.” He was slightly out of breath from sprinting across his office to catch her. His tone struck her like a teacher’s scolding a student who refused to learn a lesson.

Rey’s experience with Demi-Humans is about as limited as her experience with snow, that is to say: horrendously minimal, given that she’s just moved to Coruscant with no intention of returning to the hell hole of a desert she scraped herself from. Easing herself into the lifestream of a city that demands assimilation to the rigors and confines of a bustling metropolitan was never going to be easy, but throw in a one-night stand with a tall, brick house of a man that doesn’t seem keen on leaving it at one night, and any hopes Rey had for an easy transition got blown to high heaven.

His full attention was like standing in the only spot of sunlight in a dark ocean for miles around.
“It’s none of your business where I live.” Rey folded her arms, skin prickling.
There was a long moment of silence broken by the waves crashing against the shore.
“My name is Ben. Who are you?” The words were soft in a way he hadn’t been the entire time she’d known him. But a spark of intuition, the same intuition that told her a storm was coming on the wings of a slight breeze, told her that the answer would be important—the future would hinge on what she said.
Inexplicably, Rey panicked. “Take your clothes off.”
When Rey finally set out to find her parents in the innumerable islands of the Jakku Archipelago, the last thing she expected was a mysterious stranger to drop out of the sky with his story of hidden treasures and secret wonders.
