Summary
After the events that nearly killed Peter, Jean Grey left a door open in her mind she cannot fully close. The psychic link is mild, one-way, and deeply inconvenient. Distance makes her powers slip in small, frustrating ways. Proximity settles them.
She keeps trying to board the bus north.
He keeps being the reason she doesn’t.

Summary
Peter has a low opinion of himself (shocking) and thinks he doesn't deserve to be jealous. I mean... Jean Gray is powerful and pretty. It's only natural that everyone is crushing on her.
And Jean... Poor Jean...
Jean Grey is putting her life on the line fighting off everyone trying to grab her spider.

Summary
After Jean Grey disappears from Peter Parker’s life, Peter eventually finds a way to get her number. What starts as a simple text quickly turns into an ongoing conversation between two people who have far more to say to each other than either expected.
Somewhere between the terrible jokes, late-night messages, and increasingly flimsy excuses to see each other, Jean realizes Peter might be becoming her favorite part of her new life.
And maybe, despite the distance between them, neither of them really wants the conversation to end.
