Summary
A few years after the battle with Thanos, Peter and Gamora get the surprise of their lives and prepare for everything they know to change. So of course, when Peter and the other Guardians get captured on a mission gone wrong, it's up to Gamora to save them—because even when facing down a new enemy alone, she's still the most capable of them all.
Chapter 28:
He reacts violently, as Peter had thought he would, and tries to shove him backwards off of the ledge, but Peter is ready for him. He grabs his arms and uses the momentum of his weight to throw both of them off of the roof.
He hears Gamora scream as they tumble over the edge.

She can't stop staring at him, can't stop touching him, their arms wrapped around each other in the dim lights outside the Washington Monument.
She reaches over and caresses his face, and Steve smiles at her, that bright smile that reaches his eyes, that smile that she's missed for nearly 70 years. He gently takes her hand and links their fingers together as they walk, noticing how she's looking at him. "What is it?"
Diana smiles back. "I've dreamed of this moment, for so long...I just can't believe you're here."

Day 1 - Hello / Goodbye: By the time they reach Xandar, Peter is clinically dead. Yondu isn't too happy to see him.
Day 2 - Stay: For Peter and Gamora, the word stay has many different meanings.

Day 3 - Lost / Found: Thanos discovers Gamora's biggest weakness and decides to use it against her. Unfortunately that weakness happens to be Peter Quill.Day 4 - Partner / Rhythm: Five times Gamora and Peter try to hide their new relationship from the rest of the Guardians, and one time everybody already knew.
Day 5 - Warrior: Infinity War AU where Ego, not Thanos, is trying to destroy the universe...and he takes Peter to Vormir in search of the Soul Stone.
Gamora doesn't react well.
